I was so thrilled to be selected to be one of eight artists to participate in an artist led development year organised by Crescent Arts and Scarborough Museums and Art Gallery. It was an opportunity to learn and collaborate with other artists and work towards a group show in January 2025 in the beautiful Woodend Gallery. I met some wonderful people, made connections, reflected, changed and changed again, visited arts organisation all over the North East and was opened up to new ways of working and thinking.

I worked with Terry, an ex miner living just outside of Doncaster who keeps and raced pigeons, to produce a series of paintings around beginnings, middles and ends.
